ATTESTATION OF DOCUMENTS
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

All certificates submitted to the Embassy of India, Tajikistan for attestation should be got first attested in India as explained below:

 


School Certificates

Concerned State Board of Secondary Education.

Diploma/Vocational Training Certificates/Marriage Certificate, Birth or Death Certificates etc.

Authorised Officer of the Department of Home Affairs of the State where the institutions, which issued the Certificate, is situated.

Degree/PG Certificate

1. Authorised Officer of the Department of Secondary Education and Higher Education, Scholarship Division, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, (Address: A-I/W-3, Curzon Road Barracks, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-110001, Tel: 0091-11-33845001)..
OR
2. Consular Section, (CPV Division), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, (Address: Ground Floor, Patiala House, TilakMarg, NewDelhi.

 

The certificates for attestation should be submitted to the Embassy with:

  • Original document with two photocopies.

 

  • Original passport with photocopy (all pages of personal particulars and current visa page).

 

  • In case the document has originated from a Tajik institution, prior attestation from the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required.

ATTESTATION OF COMMERCIAL DOCUMENTS
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • In case the document originated from a Tajik Institution, it should be attested by the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In case the document is apostilled in Tajikistan, attestation by the Embassy of India is not required. 

DEATH CASES
DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR NO OBJECTION LETTER ISSUED BY EMBASSY

  • Request letter from “next of kin” of the deceased.

 

  • Original and copy of passport of the next of kin. (1st and last pages)

 

  • Original and copy of passport of the deceased.

 

  • Death certificate from local authorities

 

  • Police report in case of natural death at home or due to accident.

 

  • Copy of FIR filed by family in case of accident or unnatural death.

 

NOTE:

All documents in Russian/Tajik languages should be translated into English before submission to the Embassy. 

Once NOC is issued, the person can collect the dead body from the local authorities.  


DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR DEATH CERTIFICATE TO BE ISSUED BY EMBASSYFOR TRANSPORTATION OF MORTAL REMAINS TO INDIA

  • Death Certificate issued by Tajik authorities along with translated in English.

 

  • Photocopy of post-mortem report in Russian and English.

 

  • Embalming certificate.

 

  • Certificate for transportation of mortal remains.

 

  • Original passport of the deceased for cancellation.

 

  • Application to the Embassy for intimation of death and issuance of death certificate.

 

All Indian passport holders based in Tajikistan are advised to get themselves registered with the Embassy. 

Indian nationals should submit:

1. Two passport size photos.

2. Photocopy of the passport.
