A ceremony for distribution of Indian Musical Instrument

 As part of commemoration of 25th Anniversary of Establishment of Indo-Tajik Diplomatic Relations, Embassy of India organized a ceremony for distribution of Indian Musical Instrument and a short concert on 2nd June, 2017 at the Indian Culture Centre, Dushanbe.

Ambassador Somnath Ghosh in his inaugural address mentioned that the event is a part of commemoration of 25th Anniversary of Establishment of Indo-Tajik Diplomatic Relations. He emphasized on the deep routed cultural links between India and Tajikistan. 

H.E. Mrs. Zevar Davlatova, Deputy Minister of Culture said that India-Tajik relations are spread over thousands years. She added that this kind of events contribute towards strengthen of relations between the countries. 

While encouraging Tajik music talents and enthusiasts who love and have deep attachment with Indian music, Ambassador Somnath Ghosh and H.E. Mrs. Davlatova presented Indian musical instrument as token of appreciation to them.  

The function was attended by large number of cultural personalities, officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture, representatives of Academy of Science, academicians and students from University departments
